The kind of football analysis you read in The Athletic — passing networks, chance quality breakdowns — was produced using data that cost tens of thousands of pounds a year to access. TACTIX is our attempt to fix that.
What TACTIX Does
- Live match predictions — win probability, updated in real time
- Team statistics — shots, possession, pass accuracy, tackles, progressive carries
- Player statistics — individual performance data for every player in every match
- League statistics — full standings, form tables, home and away splits
- Season analytics — form curves, head-to-head history, multi-season trends
Why We Built It
I have been a Middlesbrough fan for over 30 years. I have watched us get relegated multiple times, often in circumstances where the data would have told you, weeks earlier, that it was coming. Nobody was showing me that information in a form I could actually use. That frustration is where TACTIX came from.
What Is Coming Next
Pro — with AI predictions, full xG and the deep analytics layer — is launching soon. The blog will be updated weekly. Welcome to TACTIX.
