TACTIX shows a lot of numbers for each player. This guide explains what the most important ones mean and how to use them when watching a match.
Progressive Carries
A carry that moves the ball at least 10 yards toward the opponent's goal, or ends in the final third. This is a better measure of ball-carrying threat than simple dribbles completed because it weights direction and destination. A winger who beats their man but goes sideways is less valuable than one who drives forward.
Duel Success Rate
The percentage of ground duels won. Elite midfielders and defenders typically sit above 60%. Below 45% and a player is consistently being beaten in physical battles — useful context for why a team concedes so many second-ball situations.
Touches in the Opposition Box
A simple but powerful leading indicator of attacking threat. A striker with high box touches is getting into the right positions even if chances are not falling. A forward with low box touches but high shot numbers is likely shooting from distance — quality is probably lower than the count implies.
Pass Accuracy in the Final Third
Overall pass accuracy can be inflated by safe passes in deep areas. A player's accuracy specifically in the final third is a much harder test. Elite creative players maintain 80%+ even in these conditions.
